While my parents (relax) under the umbrella, my brother and I (build) sandcastles. My sister (collect) seashells. Suddenly, dark clouds (appear) in the sky, and it (start) to rain.
We (run) for cover. While we (wait) for the rain to stop we (talk). After the storm (pass), the sun (come) out again, and we (return) to the beach activities.
As the day (draw) to a close, we (pack) up our things and (go) back home, tired but happy after a wonderful day at the beach.
